twiddling thumbs

so we got to see the stowaway again today. well, actually i sorta arm-twisted my doc into an ultrasound - i was given the option to just hear the heartbeat or have a scan. paranoid me wanted to see the babester so i buay pai say and asked for the scan. hah.

it's likely to be a girl... but nothing definitive till the next detailed scan. the stowaway was playing with its fingers (i like to refer to it as twiddling his/her thumbs) when the scan was going on. sooo cute! heh.

so yeah, everything's going well with the pregnancy. no pictures today tho cos the baby's getting too big to be captured on the screen by this ultrasound machine.

had my weight taken today - 49.8kg. back up to my fighting weight (plus a little). up 1kg from last month. phew. was beginning to worry i wasn't gaining weight. (yes, as my hubby says, if there's something to worry about, i will worry about it!)

will update later on the other issue i was talking about. too pooped now. need to go take a shower and crash! just wanted to give a quick update.
