whirlwind of a week

man, it's been a crazy crazy week. it went by in a jiffy! had 2 days of teambuilding in changi, which was a much-needed break from work, and a good way to get to know my new colleagues. also meant that i got to drive down to changi with the hubby since he works just around the corner from where my teambuilding was held. was actually quite nice to be able to leave the house together in the morning. has been a long while since we've been able to do that.

today was elodie's first b'day. i have plenty of pics from the big day... but am too pooped now to put them up. haven't been feeling a 100% lately. haven't been eating nor sleeping well and it's taking its toll on me. think it's time to roll into bed now and get some zzzzs. will put up the pics and a write-up of the party tomorrow. one more b'day to celebrate tomorrow, but that's an adults-only affair! picnic in botanical gardens to celebrate kale's friend john's b'day. so i'm sure i'll have more pics tomorrow too.
