what a feeling...

wow, this is an odd feeling. it's 6:10pm and i'm looking out of the window, listening to the strains of "hotel california" which are floating in from the padang where i'm assuming they're testing the speakers for the upcoming National Day Parade. (i assume they're testing the speakers cos "hotel california" isn't really a National Day- type song.. hmm)

but i digress. anyhow, i'm looking out of the window and i suddenly feel very at peace and for lack of a better word, happy. it's friday. and it's still light out. i can leave the office now and then do whatever i want for the next few hours without having to worry about getting up early for work tomorrow. wow.

i'm all excited. i just spent a good 5 minutes drumming my fingers on my desk dreaming about all the things i COULD do tonight. of course, i'm unlikely to do all those things and am instead more likely to go home, meet kale and then grab some dinner across the street before heading home and cleaning the house (it's filthy) since we have some free time. BUT, still, think of all the things I COULD do. wow.

so yes, i'm going to log off now, head home and enjoy my friday evening. woo hoo.
