livin la vida loca

so we had our 1st salsa class in almost 2 years earlier this evening. conclusion is that it would have been great to have done this BEFORE the wedding so that jessica and carissa could have seen some real dancing as opposed to the muddled mess that instead ensued on the dance floor.

must say that we're not too bad for 2 old fogeys who haven't danced in 2 years! a little rusty perhaps but we still have our groove on.. once the memory is refreshed, i think we'll do just fine. =)

just bumped into a high school friend of mine at the dance school.. haven't seen her since we took that last class last year.. turns out she's gotten married and had a kid in that amount of time! talk about catching up!

finally got the chance to intro kale as the husband today.. which sorta doesn't roll off my tongue as easily as it should.. just a little more practice and i think i'll be good. =)

kale's out cleaning his bike in preparation for the big race this sunday.. we're driving up to malaysia tomorrow morningw ... about a 4 hour drive to putrajaya (near KL) and i hear we have a pretty swanky hotel room (which will be a nice departure from the usual digs that we get) so i'm a little psyched. guess this is the mini-honeymoon, even if it involves 10 other men in spandex and their bikes. hmm.

should go pack for tomorrow (we still haven't really even unpacked from the trip to charleston yet!) heading out early since we have to drop my sis off for her SATs before we head out...
