almost there....

so, everything's all packed and we're almost ready to go. our flight is bright and early tomorrow morning at 7:20am so we'll probably need to be at the airport at some obscene hour.

have been wrestling with my wedding dress, trying to figure out the best way to get it on the way. carrying it in the garment bag seems like the most obvious choice, but i'm just hoping the dress gets to the U.S. in not-too-bad a shape after being manhandled during every transit!

we technically have more carry-on pieces than we're allowed (cos of the suit and the wedding dress) but we're hoping to pander to the flight crew's love of weddings and hope they'll take pity on me.. heh heh.

ok, well, time to go shower, catch some zzzs and then wake up refreshed (hopefully) to tackle the 27 hour journey..
