dreary morning

man, it's blah out. it's one of those drizzly, grey mornings. boss comes back from leave tomorrow, so i'm enjoying a little bit of peace and quiet before he comes back. my calendar is chock-a-block with meetings for the rest of the week.

didn't sleep well last night. had an allergic reaction to something. might be the dust from the filters the "rainbow man" threw out in the trash after his vacuum cleaner demo on saturday. was scratching the roof of my mouth with my tongue all nite cos it was itching so bad.. then i started sneezing. sigh. reminder to self: throw the trash out when i get back tonite.

i'm going for some christian dance thing with selene tonite. not too sure about this whole "worship through dance" thing. i've never been much of an expressive christian, hence the appeal of the catholic church. in hindsight, the last statement is odd, cos anyone who knows me would assume i'd be the expressive, "hallelujah" sort just cos i'm generally emotional, expressive and enjoy movement... but somehow, the whole charismatic church thing never really sat well with me.

so yeah, i'm kinda uncomfortable about tonight, but i guess i'll give it a whirl. will be nice to do something with selene before she goes away to college. but i just wish it was something a little less out of my comfort zone. but as kale said, i'm usually game to try anything once. guess i'll give it a shot tonite and then see how game i am to try the rest of the days (it runs till thurs this week and then the whole day on saturday). hmm. i'll keep an open mind, i guess.
