We finally bit the bullet and purchased our own domain name and paid for webhosting. Now all that's left between us and our own webpage is a wee bit of coding and installation. Problem is that that wee bit of coding and installation is WAY beyond my rudimentary understanding of all things techy. My knowledge of html and blogging ended with the 1 computing class I took in freshman year. And believe me, lots has gone on in the tech world since then.

Thankfully the hubby is a little more on top of this than I am. He's the one who convinced me to finally get the webhost and domain. I was pretty content with a free blog but I've been wanting a little bit more control and privacy hence the decision to switch.

So we've decided on using wordpress... I'm just not quite understanding how wordpress works with the hosting thing cos the husband is working on installing all that jazz. Hopefully it'll be user-friendly... I'm not quite up to wrapping my brain around something technical right now. We'll see... thank goodness for the hubby. Have to say though, I'm excited to see how it all works out!
