damn, it took me 3 tries to get the damn title of this blog changed from "whitebait and kale" which was my original attempt at a more long-term title for this blog to "Male'ana" which would at least tie in with the url of this website. had almost thought i would be stuck with whitebait and kale for eternity. =(

reason behind all these title changes - kale pointed out that the old title was a little out o' date with the date of the wedding and all. hence, the search for a more enduring title.

in other news.. kale's thinking of getting a new bike. not to jinx it or anything... but he may be getting a good bike for an even better price since his friend is looking to get rid of his after only a couple of weeks. makes you wonder why he purchased it in the first place! the paint job is "unique" and i'll leave it to the man to describe it, or better yet, include pictures.. and it's not very "kale".. but i guess for the price, it shall be an acquired taste!
