insecurities

Man, I feel incompetent. Meredith has been fussing all day and each time I pick her up she continues to fuss. The only time she's quiet is when she's nursing. BUT she quiets right down when my mom or the maid carries her and even dozes off!

Not helping my insecurities as a mother. dang. Seriously.
Am seriously beginning to wonder how I'm going to cope the week when my parents are away in Dec. *bites nails*

Maybe u can get the maid to help you in that 1 week when ur parents aren't around. Can see that she likes kids. She enjoyed playing with E when she was here on Monday. Anyway, just my thots! :)

Wipe those thoughts out of your head woman. You are a fantastic mum. Babies are just hard to figure out.

hi denise, I experienced that during my first month too. It's simply because she 'smells milk' and you can only calm her by nursing...even though she isn't hungry...which is what happened to me, and also to a few of my friends. It's normal, and it's got nothing to do with how good a mom u are, k? :)

san san: she does like kids... it's a good idea. am sure mama will bring her by anyhow.

joan: man, i wish i was as chirpy and positive as you were a weak after giving birth!

sheryl: yeah, i know what you mean, but since i'm going to be home alone with the baby, there's not really an option to pass the baby off to someone. and the incessant screaming kills. plus if i do feed her, i'm worried i'm overfeeding her, causing her to spit up more and more discomfort
