talk about miserly...

we went to orchard hotel yest for lunch and my mom waited in the hotel lobby with the peanut who was falling asleep while i went down to the carpark to get the car. on my way out of the carpark, i was behind a lexus es300 who pissed me off by stopping abruptly at the top of the ramp to drop his passenger off. strike 1.

we got to the exit gantry which was the erp sort. he drove up to the gantry and stopped short. he started talking to the security guard who was manning the exit. there was a lot of gesturing and it was clear that the guardf was getting agitated. by this time there were at least 8 cars behind me waiting to get out. the guard started directing the cars behind me to back up one by one.

i was getting irritated cos my mom and the baby were waiting and the delay was unnecessary. i woundmy window down and the guard told me that the idiot in front didn't have a complimentary ticket with him but he didn't want to pay for parking. so?? he inconveniences all the drivers behind him! buay pai say!!!

aren't you embarassed to put so many people out of their way for $8?? especially when you can obviously afford it if you're driving a bloody lexus!!! i had a half a mind to get out of the car and give him a piece of my mind... but i was more interested in getting to my mom and meredith. luckily she was asleep and not fussing or else...

i cannot believe the gall of some people. sheesh.
