ok, so i know this is probably not that funny, and is actually kinda frustrating but looking back, it's a little amusing. today, our contractor told me that he can't understand my husband's "american english"...

so yes, i whip out my singlish (which, by the way, is improving by the day) and manage to solve the miscommunication problem, lah. so damn, i guess i'm designated "liaison" for this reno then. the lucky bastard just got out of dealing with the contractors, and i can't even fault him for it.. aiyohhh...

so yeah, guess his english is no good around here. i think that's how i feel around kale's friend jim. don't understand 3 out of 4 words that come out of his scottish mouth. so much for english being the "global" language. bah.
