renovation diary

We were supposed to meet Roland today at the apartment to go over the kitchen cabinet quote and drop off the sink that we were picking up from the store today. Good thing we called Roland before we headed over to the house, cos he apparently was somewhere out in Woodlands and didn't have the key to the padlock he put on the house. Sketchy, eh?

So we ended up trudging off with the sink and swung by Uncle Richard's (Kale's biking friend) to pick up some boxes so we can start packing our crap up. He was kind enough to give us a ride back home, and so now we can officially use the term "everything but the kitchen sink" ... EXCEPT we actually DO have the kitchen sink at home too!

Had a little snafu at the sink store where they tried to swindle us out of $45 but we were able to get out of that one.. thank goodness. This renovation has milked us out of enough money as is!
